Georgetown

For those who know me, the fact that Georgetown is my favorite area of DC will come as no surprise. The history, the waterfront walkways, the multitude of coffee shops and cheap dining spots, the academic environment all have a hand in making Georgetown a microcosm full of things I love. Of course, the lack of affordable housing and parking and a nearby metro stop are enough to stop me from taking the plunge into rowhouse living anytime soon, but for now I'm content to wander the streets and take in the sights.

Some personal favorite spots:
  • Baked & Wired // their soy latte is to die for
  • Waterfront Park
  • Jaco's
  • Bridge Street Books
  • Martin's
  • Zara // included because it's the best organized Zara in the city
  • Exorcist stairs
