Carrboro, NC

May 4, 2017

As part of my trip to Chapel Hill to visit the botanical garden, I ventured over to Carrboro, a small town next to Chapel Hill known for being one of the most progressive places in the South. As such, the street art is in plentiful supply, and I spent an hour tracking down murals on the sides of buildings and stopping into two coffee places before my parking meter ran out.

Having only been to Carrboro for private events before, I was happy to get a chance to explore the streets, even if only for a short time. Next time I visit I plan to see more of the murals; the ones I found were within a few blocks of each other, and I know there are over thirty spread throughout the area.
