March Goals

March is always a bittersweet month for me, personally. It's the beginning of spring, the start of the sweltering heat of southern summers, the middle of the school semester, the marker of a quarter of the year gone. It both inspires me to pursue new goals (like spring cleaning, but of my life) and fills me with dread as the summer approaches. While this is the first year I don't have a spring break to celebrate, I do feel like it's given me a break of sorts in my thinking and a chance to restrategise my goals. And so, I've set five goals for myself for the month of March:

  • continue applying for jobs
  • do one new thing every week // try a new cafe, visit a new park, etc.
  • make it through my library stack by reading at least two books a week
  • pitch a writing idea to at least one online publisher
  • ruthlessly purge my belongings of items I no longer use (spring cleaning and all that)
