Life Lately | January

January felt strange. It was the first time since I was 3 that I wasn't in school for most of the month. While many of my friends are finishing their last semester of college, I've been at home, spending the bulk of my time alternating between applying for jobs and reading through my massive stack of library books. January did contain some unexpectedly exciting moments, like when NC got its first (and probably only) snow of the year and I made two spontaneous road trips: one to Charlotte to visit a best friend and the second to DC for a job interviewI also managed to meet all the goals I set for myself this month, which shocks no one more than it shocks me. Overall, the month has been - with some exceptions - an average one, with little to note.

Watching // A Series of Unfortunate Events, Quantico (it's finally back)
Viewing // Hidden Figures (made me cry), La La Land (absolutely incredible)
Listening // I See You by The XX, How You Gonna Stop It? Vol. One by Mating Ritual
Reading // Stamped From the Beginning by Ibram X. Kendi
