Nights (And Days) in Rodanthe | Part 2

Today was the last day of our beach vacation, sadly. I really enjoyed doing nothing but relaxing for eight days straight. Our days usually went: sleep in, eat, go to the beach, go to the pool, eat, read or play games or watch TV all afternoon, eat, and watch another movie.

On Wednesday, we rented a few jet-skis for an hour and had loads of fun. My mom and I shared one, my dad and siblings shared another, and my friend and his dad shared the third. My mom and I were really good at not dumping each other off the side when turning tight corners, which was not everyone else's luck. I think my dad dumped everyone off his jet-ski six or seven times.

It rained all day Thursday, so we stayed indoors and played games, namely Scotland Yard, the whole time. On Friday, my mom and I drove down to Hatteras Village to do a bit of shopping. It rained again that afternoon so we played more games and watched more TV. We didn't do anything noteworthy (besides the jet-skis) the entire week, but it was a fun time of doing nothing and having fun with friends.

Tomorrow it's back to work, but then I get Memorial Day off (not sure how I managed that). I'll probably spend all of Monday by myself as I've spent the last 12 days surrounded by people (not that I don't love them, but the introvert in me is screaming for some alone time).
